Happy October!

Awww, October has arrived.  This month is my favorite month of the year!  The leaves are turning beautiful shades or oranges, reds and yellows, pumpkins are in season and Halloween is right around the corner.  I love to throw on a cozy sweater, light my Spiced Pumpkin candle and put on my favorite Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus.  I'm hoping to carve pumpkins this week for our front porch.  I love to decorate for fall.  One of my biggest inspirations is Nell Hill's.  Nell Hill's is a home interior store in Kansas City at Briarcliff Village.  It's the most beautiful store I've ever stepped into.  The owner Mary Carol Garrity has a talent for decorating like no other.  Every year she has a Fall and Winter Open House at her home in Atchison, Kansas.  My mom and sisters and I talk every year about how we need to go down for it, but have yet to find the time to go, I'm hoping this will be the year we make it!  Her home is my dream home!  Here are a few pictures of this year's Fall Open House and her home.  Get inspired!
